Temecula Valley brings home celebrities with the International Film and Music Festival

Pechanga Resort and Casino will be hosting the 16’th annual Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival in their Grand Ballroom from now until the black tie event on September 19’th.

16th Annual Temecula Valley International Film and Music FestivalOn the roster of celebrities attending the event is the musician Kenny Loggins, who will be receiving an award¬† for outstanding achievement in music. Kenny Loggins will also be playing in concert at the Pechanga Resort and Casino on October 29’th, and tickets are just about sold out already. They probably won’t be available in a week.

Raquel Welch One Million Years BCThere will also be an entertainment icon award for famous actress Raquel Welch. She has early ties to the Temecula area.¬† Back in 1959 at age 18 she played leading role in the Ramona Pageant in Hemet. You may remember her in an animal hide bikini back in the 1960’s remake of One Million Years BC where her role as a prehistoric diva made her an instant sex symbol. She has starred in numerous roles and has Succeeded as an award winning actress for decades.


The third celebrity that will be at the festival is Eric Roberts. He is receiving an award for outstanding career achievement in acting, and his career shows just that, spanning 32 years of television, film and stage acting. He can be seen in his recent roles on episodes of Entourage, Heroes, and Crash. He will be on an episode of Chuck airing October 11’th on NBC.

16th Annual Temecula Valley International Film and Music FestivalThe Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival touts 15 years of gala events with famous celebrities and a diverse selection of films screening throughout the days of this yearly festival. In 1995 the attendance was only 600, and last year around 20,000 people were in attendance. Expect September 19’th to bring flashing media cameras and excited fans as the festival’s final night begins!
